I have always been deeply curious about people — what makes us think the way we do, why we respond differently to the same experiences, and what happens inside us when life changes in ways we never expected.
My journey into psychology began long before I understood where it would lead me. Growing up, I watched my mother navigate depression, and seeing someone I loved experience emotional pain had a profound impact on me.
It made me realize that mental health doesn't affect just one person. It touches families, relationships, and the way we experience life together. It also made me curious about something that has stayed with me throughout my journey: what does it really mean to understand another human being?
That question eventually led me to psychology. Over the past 15-plus years, psychology has become not just my profession but a way of understanding people, relationships, emotions, and the experiences that shape us.
My own experiences have also shaped the way I understand and practice psychology. My journey through hormonal health has given me a deeply personal understanding of the emotional and psychological experiences that can accompany women's health journeys.
Today, this lived experience—combined with my professional training and more than 15 years in psychology—informs my work with women navigating hormonal changes and emotional well-being.
"Sometimes we don't need someone to tell us what is wrong with us. We need someone who can sit with us, listen without judgment, and help us make sense of what we are experiencing."
I believe that healing isn't about becoming a different person. It is about understanding yourself with greater honesty and compassion. That is the kind of space I strive to create.
Today, my work increasingly focuses on women's mental health, hormonal health, and the psychological experiences that accompany different stages of a woman's life. Through individual work, workshops, group programs, and educational conversations, I hope to make psychology more accessible, practical, and deeply human. Because every person carries a story—and sometimes, being heard is the beginning of healing.
